AgUnity Response is an Australian-based start-up with industry-leading professionals assembling into an agile response tactical team to rapidly prototype and deploy an MVP for immediate trials into the field as part of a local and global COVID-19 mitigation strategy. 

AR is a subsidiary of AgUnity, an award-winning tech startup founded in 2016 and working to change the lives of the 1-billion-plus low-income farmers worldwide. About You 

 

You are an industry leader or virtuoso up-and-comer in the Impact Tech startup scene. You have been in high-pressure roles before and have thrived in the face of adversity. You believe in a strong culture and you take pride in building relationships with your co-workers. You understand recruiting is the single most important task a company undertakes and you ensure only the brightest, most adaptable, and culturally aligned candidates are chosen. You’re fluent in spoken English and have clear business communications writing. 

Skills & Experience 

  • Strong ownership ethic

  • Drama-averse/no-nonsense focus to get-the-job-done 

  • A successful and proven record as a senior HR leader in a multi-disciplinary role in a health and / or community services related environment 

  • Demonstrated ability to develop, lead and implement a broad range of contemporary HR and organisational development strategies, programs, policies and operational practices to successfully support the strategic objectives of the business 

  • A proven track record in either working as an executive or directly supporting the executive on people and culture strategies 

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting organisations meet standards against industry accreditation schemes such as ISO 9000 

  • Strong organisational and project management skills and sound business acumen 

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences 

 

Tasks at Hand

  • Managing company staff, including coordinating and supporting the recruitment process 

  • On-boarding newcomers to the company 

  • Determining suitable salaries and remuneration 

  • Providing the necessary support systems for payroll requirements 

  • Developing adequate induction and training 

  • Supporting employee opportunities for professional development 

  • Managing succession planning of staff 

  • Assisting with the performance management and review process 

Preferred Skills 

 

Familiarity with the Impact “Technology for Good” scene is beneficial, but not required.
